The Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ, that He came to provide a way for man to no longer be separated from God, but to have peace with God.

Scripture clearly teaches that mankind is separated from God because of sin.
But God did not leave us without hope!

It the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Romans 6:23b
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8
That is good news! God loved us enough to offer eternal life to those who choose to believe and confess Christ as Lord!

That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. - Romans 10:9-10
Confess . . . believe . . .be saved from your sin!

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we also have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we celebrate in hope of the glory of God. - Romans 5:1-2
From separation to peace with God, that is the Gospel!
